MARINE ALARM SYSTEMS

The SEAHOUND
Marine Security System is a user friendly DIY security system specifically
designed with the boating industry in mind.
The system consists of two covert microwave movement sensors; a self
powered 125db siren, a strobe light, remote transmitters, all necessary
mounting hardware, fuses, interconnecting component connectors and
easy to follow installation instructions.

Optional
extras include additional movement sensors, pressure pads and a local
pager unit (800 metres range) which advises if the system has been
activated while you have been away from the boat.
The field disturbance sensors use an ultra high frequency to detect
movement within a confined area. They are unaffacted by temperature
and if found to be too sensitive they can be individually adjusted.
As the sensors project their field in a 360 degree pattern they should
be positioned vertically or horizontally to give maximum efficiency.
It is worthwhile hiding the sensors out of site somewhere in the cabin
or somewhere similar, as the sensor field will penetrate plastic,
wood and most other materials with the exception of metals.

The
GSM Autodialler System has been
developed to meet the following parameters:
1) When was the last time anyone took any notice of an alarm going
off by contacting the authorities?
Answer - Rarely
2) If an alarm system is already fitted to your boat could this
system interface with it?
Answer - Usually
By utilising this system, even if you are on the other side
of the world you will know instantly if the alarm has been activated
and be able to take the necessary action.

But
how does it work I hear you say? - Basically, once activated by an
intruder forcing a door, the system, without sounding any alarm on
the boat first dials one or two numbers of your choice and advises
via your own pre-recorded message that the boat has been broken into.
Should you have an existing audible alarm (or would like us to supply
one) the GSM Autodialler will usually interface with it giving you
the best of both worlds.
